Brentknoll Vets in Worcester are hosting their annual Family Fun Day & Dog Show in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind on Sunday 23rd August.
This years event will be held at the ever popular Worcester Woods Country Park, Wildwood Drive, Worcester, WR5 2LG.
Dog Show competitors should arrive from 10:30am, at this time they will be able to register their dogs for the show and collect class schedules and their goody bags.
The show will be officially opened by the Mayor of Worcester at 12:00 Midday and judging for the first classes in the Novelty and Pedigree will begin afterwards.
An entry fee of £2 per class or 3 classes for £5 is payable upon registering, there are Rosettes for 1st to 6th place in all classes
| Ring 1: Pedigree Classes
Judge: To be confirmed 1. A/V Puppy (6-12 months only) 2. A/V Junior (12-18 months only) 3. A/V Sporting 4. A/V Non-Sporting 5. A/v Veteran (7 years & over) 6. A/V Open
Best in Show in the pedigree classes will be judged after class 6, all 1st place winners. The beaten dog rule applies for the pedigree classes only Please note there is limited ringside parking available which must be pre-booked before the event by contacting Brentknoll Veterinary Centre so that a parking pass may be sent. |
Ring 2: Novelty Classes
Judge: Various judges 1. Cutest Puppy (up to 6 months) 2. Best Trick 3. Fancy Dress 4. Best Rescue Dog 5. Junior Handler (up to 16 years) 6. Handsome Dog 7. Prettiest Bitch 8. Best Veteran 9. Longest/Biggest Ears 10. Mismatched Brace 11. The dog the judge would like to take home
Best Novelty in Show will be judged after class 11, all 1st place winners. The beaten dog rule does not apply to the novelty classes |
