We say it every year, but 2017 seems to have flown by and we're nearly into 2018! What better way to see out the year than with a Christmas Party to celebrate.
The practice is open 363 days a year, only closing for Christmas day and Boxing day (when the practice is covered by the Vets Now out of hours team). So after we closed our doors on Saturday at 6pm, it was time for those working to slip into something a little more party worthy and head on over to the 2017 Brentknoll Christmas Party.
This year the staff and their partners, joined other local businesses at the Sixways Rugby stadium, during one of their themed party evenings. Whilst they had the choice of 80's fancy dress to fairy-tail character, this year's chosen theme was masquerade, so the team donned their glad rags and sparkly masks.
After a wonderful three course meal, the DJ took over the dance floor and played a range of tunes to suit everyone there. It's always nice to let our hair down and get dressed up together, after spending a busy year dressed in very un-glamorous scrub tunics and coated in a variety of pet hair.
The theme was definitely sparkles and glitter, client care supervisor Jenni choose a stick on gem mask rather than traditional option, and many of the female staff members glittered in sequins and glittery dresses. The nurses donned a wonderful range of masks and Head Nurse Hayley Oates lead the way to the dance floor along with fellow nurses Laura and Sammie.
A great time was had by all, although the headaches to be nursed the following morning probably weren't such fun. Luckily, some members of our team were fresh-faced and ready to man the practice on Sunday (minus the hangovers) so it was quickly business as usual, caring for Worcester's pets.
A very Merry Christmas to all of our Clients and their Pets, from everyone at Brentknoll Veterinary Centre, Worcester
