It seems the dogs of Worcester just can't get enough of the water as our 3rd dog this year has successfully completed their 100 swims at Brentknoll Vets in Worcester.

When “Oscar” first visited Brentknoll he was just over a year old and been rescued by his current owner Mrs Jones. Weighing in at 32kg he was struggling with intermittent lameness on his front legs (which is no fun for a bouncy Labrador pup.) After a thorough examination and X-rays he was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia and Osteoarthritis in both Elbows at the age of 2.

Brentknoll Veterinary Centre staff from Worcester battled against other teams from within the veterinary industry for the title of Vet Challenge 2014 winners

This years event was based at the St Francis School in Pewsey in the beautiful Wiltshire Downs, taking full advantage of the miles of country roads and bridal paths that meander around the hills in the area.

A great day was had by all at Brentknoll Vet's Family Fun Day & Dog show, dogs of all shapes and sizes from Worcester strutted their stuff in our novelty and pedigree rings

It's not everyday that a Brentknoll team member reaches their 10th year at the practice, so when  Vet Isobel McBurney reached hers in September 2014 we felt it deserved celebrating.

Isobel McBurney joined Brentknoll Veterinary Centre back in 2004 when it was still based in the Bath Road premises, with the rest of the team she helped build the practice alongside Clinical Director Dave Fisher and assisted through the move to the current Whittington Road, Worcester premises.
