When “Oscar” first visited Brentknoll he was just over a year old and been rescued by his current owner Mrs Jones. Weighing in at 32kg he was struggling with intermittent lameness on his front legs (which is no fun for a bouncy Labrador pup.) After a thorough examination and X-rays he was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia and Osteoarthritis in both Elbows at the age of 2.
This years event was based at the St Francis School in Pewsey in the beautiful Wiltshire Downs, taking full advantage of the miles of country roads and bridal paths that meander around the hills in the area.

Isobel McBurney joined Brentknoll Veterinary Centre back in 2004 when it was still based in the Bath Road premises, with the rest of the team she helped build the practice alongside Clinical Director Dave Fisher and assisted through the move to the current Whittington Road, Worcester premises.
